149An original Maling advertisement for Cobblestone pottery, dated 1932. (8in x 11in) - This page from the Pottery Gazette dated 1 March 1932 depicts the various shapes of Cobblestone around the advertisement detailing the new range at their London showrooms and other outlets. An interesting piece of Maling printed ephemera. : £20-30 (Maling)
152A circular Maling relief moulded daffodil plaque. (11.25in) - This is in perfect condition, decorated with white and yellow flowers and green leaves on a cobalt blue brushwork ground. There are some firing imperfections to the top - printed Maling marks, dated 1947, painted numbers 6349. : £40-60 (Maling)
362A Maling hexagonal Ringtons biscuit barrel and cover from 1929. (5.75in) - This is in perfect condition. The lid has a view of the North East Coast Industry Exhibition building, with a North East Coast Industry Exhibtion transfer to the underside. Apart from kiln imperfections it is perfect, with hexagonal shape and view of the Tyne Bridge and Newcastle cathedral, framed by palmetto bands. The base has the Maling Ware mark with a view of the Ringtons buildings. : £50-80 (Maling)
758A Maling Dovecote pattern circular plaque - restored. (11in) - This circular plaque is decorated in the Dovecote pattern with birds, dovecotes, hollyhocks, polychrome flowers and butterflies on a purple fishscale lustre ground with a gilded rim. The green glaze is in fact raised enamelling, framed by gilt brushwork borders. It has printed Maling mark and number 5454. It has been restored. : £80-120 (Maling)
872A circular Maling octagonal Plum and Orchard pattern blue bowl. (9.25in) - This bowl is decorated with purple, orange and red fruit on a blue fishscale lustre ground with gilded green leaves and similar green leaf and gilt border to octagonal rim. The exterior is similarly decorated with blue fishscale lustre glazes and it has printed Maling mark and number 3449. The base is crazed. : £80-120 (Maling)
1031A Maling Daisy pink moulded bowl. (11.5in) - This large moulded bowl is of unusual shape with burnished gilt scrolled handles. It is decorated with blue and yellow daisies and green leaves on a pink fishscale lustre ground. It has a gilt rim and foot and a central green and black circular floral medallion. It has printed Maling Daisy marks and number 6157. The base appears to be crazed, but there is nothing visible to the interior of the bowl, which looks to be in perfect condition and it rings well. : £200-300 (Maling)
