Garden Statuary / Furniture
52A quantity of aluminium framed folding deck chairs/loungers, etc. (A lot) - : £20-30 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
110A composition rococo-style planter. (36.5in) - This is in three sections, which we presume we have put together correctly. It is overall moulded with foliate scrolling and decorative friezes and made of some composition material? Perfect, but fairly fragile. : £30-40 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
161A cast iron fireback decorated with St George and the dragon panel. (28in x 21.75in) - This is a heavy cast iron panel moulded with crest of dragons and shells above a lion mask with vine frieze flanking the central raised panel. There is St George on horseback holding a spear. It is quite a clean piece, recently painted. : £80-120 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
186A green painted Gothic style wrought iron garden bench. (42in) - This garden bench has two Gothic panels above the slatted seat, with shaped arms raised on slatted legs, joined by rectangular stretchers with pad feet. It looks as if it has had some repairs in its day. : £80-120 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
202Three square composition stone planters. (3) (12.5in) - These are moulded almost as if they are logs built up, and are 12.5in square. They come complete with trees! : £60-80 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
248An iron bench decorated with floral designs to castings, with wood slats and scrolled arms. (50in) - : £40-60 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
342A cast iron urn on column stand. (31.5in) - This has a lozenge moulded overhanging rim with a fluted body and a fluted column stand raised on a circular plinth base. It is white painted, but rusting. : £40-60 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
390A nineteenth century lead birdbath on column stand. (35in) - Although this lead piece does not match its base, this is how we found it in the garden of a deceaseds estate. The lead consists of a shell moulded bowl with bird on rim and seated cherup supported on a baluster stoneware column with plinth base. The lead piece itself would go on any column, in fact, it would be more suitable on another piece. : £100-150 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
668A pair of hardwood tennis net court poles. (2) - A pair of hardwood tennis net court poles, the turned columns having brass mounts with crank handle above chamfered square pillars, with cast iron ferule bases. (42in) (2) : £20-30 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
725Bronze, study of a naked boy and fish - piped for water. (19in) - : £80-120 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
913A set of four green painted Gothic-style wrought iron arm chairs. (4) - These have pointed backs above slatted seats with shaped arms supported on slatted legs joined by rectangular stretchers with pad feet. They are green painted, similar to the two seater bench we are selling on its own. : £150-250 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
921A Victorian glazed garden tree trunk; and a tin glazed pottery circular garden birdbath with log border. (2) - The tree trunk planter has chips to the eight apertures of the moulded tree trunk where historically flowers have grown, as they are still full of soil. It is 13in high. The birdbath piece is just over 12in in diameter. Again there is no makers name, but it is stoneware pottery with tin glaze. : £40-60 (Garden Statuary/Furniture)
