208A nineteenth century black basalt teapot and cover. (6.75in x 4in) - This teapot has applied asiatic type floral motifs on a cross-hatched body with a serpent handle and spout. Alas it has a chip to the spout and to the interior rim. It has a ribbed base. The lid has a lion handle with a rope twist rim. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
209Four nineteenth century copper lustre jugs; and a pair of leaf moulded Victorian jugs. (6) - The leaf moulded jugs are 7in high and moulded with gadrooned style fern panels decorated in turquoise with orange bands and painted numbers and impressed marks. There is a chip to one foot, otherwise they are perfect. The copper lustre jugs consist of a graduated pair of jugs painted with landscape scenes with blue bodies. There is a perfect copper lustre jug that depicts dancing couples with scrolled handle and it has a Victorian registration monogram beneath it. Finally there is a small jug decorated with a slip frieze and bulbous body. It is also perfect. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
211A Tuscan Honiton pattern floral teaset; and a Victorian gadrooned blue floral coffee set with gilded rims. (A lot) - The Victorian set has moulded bodies with gilded rims and is transfer printed. The pieces have transfer printed marks of JB & Son. It includes two bread plates. The Tuscan set is in the Honiton pattern with pink and blue flowers on grey transfer printed ground with gilded rims. : £20-30 (Ceramics)
212A Staffordshire style limited edition figurine of Captain Cook; and a similar circular scalloped plate printed with bust portrait of the seafarer. (2) - These are new items. The Captain Cook figure is from a limited edition, number 27/500. He stands 6.5in high. It is in perfect condition, as is the plate, that has a waist portrait of the seated Cook with a gilt border. 213A Copeland hand painted tile panel depicting a lady; and four nineteenth century floral blue and white Copeland tiles. (A lot) - This tile panel measures 31.75in and is hand painted with a renaissance style lady holding a staff with a flower in her gloved hand. It doesn't appear to be signed. The top two tiles have cracked and have been reglued. There is a bit missing to the top. The other blue floral tiles appear to be transfer printed. Not all but most of them are impressed Copeland. : £20-30 (Ceramics)

215A collection of miscellaneous crested china including a Blackpool teaset on tray; and a miniature satsuma vase. (A lot) - The Blackpool set is Bohemian. Other pieces include two cheese covers, one with base, a teapot, a Willow Art jug, Czechoslovakian, Shelley, a piano by Corona, etc. : £10-20 (Ceramics)
216A pair of early nineteenth century Newhall style tea bowls with saucers; and an eighteenth century tea bowl. (5) - The gadrooned saucers and bowls are unmarked and have puce coloured friezes decorated with floral panels and gadroon moulded to cup. 218A pair of Copeland parian ware figurines of a boy and girl. (15.5in) (2) - The boy is holding his hat with flowers and a birds nest, and the girl is holding a basket of fruit. They are both standing on oval naturalistically moulded plinths. They are both impressed with Copeland marks. She is feeding birds at her feet, with food in her dress. They are grubby and both exhibit old repairs. : £30-40 (Ceramics)

220A Victorian cottage pastille burner, a soldier sailor Staffordshire flatback piece, and two small bisque porcelain figurines. (4) - The past burner alas is cracked, and is modelled as an octagonal gothic style cottage with chimney to centre and applied bocage. It is gilded around the windows with an opening at the back. It has a painted 2 underneath. The Staffordshire figure group is 4.5in high and depicts a soldier to one side and a sailor to the other, both with their arms holding a round column with a yellow plinth base. There is slight flaking to the paint and chips to the tops of the columns, but it is an early Staffordshire piece, with general overall crazing. The larger of the girls is 7.25 in high. She is holding a musical instrument, wearing a white bonnet and blue dress. There are minor chips to the foot and the neck of the stringed instrument is missing. There are further chips and fricking, but it is otherwise sound. The other porcelain girl was presumably holding a candlestick at some stage, but that has been broken off. The base has an impressed number and painted marks. It could still be used as a candlestick if one took the stump out of the leaf moulded stand. : £20-30 (Ceramics)
221A nineteenth century Russian floral teaset. (A lot) - There are six cups, six saucers and a teapot in this lot. All are hand painted with oval floral panels on a blue ground framed by gilding. The teapot is of ovoid form with ball finial. All pieces have brick red Russian marks with winged birds in armorials above an oval panel of a Russian horse and rider. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
222A blue and white Fell nineteenth century ashet, a nineteenth century square tureen and cover, a willow pattern ashet, a pair of Japanese plates, and a side plate. (7) - The Fell ashet has a floral border framing a pastoral scene with boats on the water. It is 16.25in and mounted with its original plate hanger. The back exhibits hairlines and a small chip. It is impressed with Fell & Co as well as blue transfer printed Fell. On the front it appears to be perfect. The square shaped tureen and cover is unmarked. There is a small chip to the rim. It is printed with a landscape scene with a floral border. The willow pattern ashet is also by Fell. It has a plate hanger attached to it and it depicts three men on the bridge and it measures 15in. The two Japanese plates are traditional export pieces decorated with birds and blossom foliage. Lastly there is a small plate made by W & C. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
223A collection of ashtrays, mainly from pubs - Players, Woodbine, Bass, etc. (14) "There are lots of memories in these. A Groucho Club one fell into my pocket, as did the Butlins example." - There is also a bit of history with a 1929 Northeast Coast ashtray. There is a good Mintons Bass ashtray, MacKinlays Scotch, Richmond tipped, etc. There are 14 in all. : £40-60 (Ceramics)

226A nineteenth century Japanese teapot, a Satsuma vase, a white crackle glaze relief moulded vase, and a hexagonal Delft style pot. (4) - The small ball shaped teapot is in the Imari palette, and is 5in high. It is finely potted in porcelain but the angled spout has been repaired. It is decorated with blossom foliage in blue, brick red and gilt panels. The Satsuma vase is 7.25in high and painted with birds in landscape in a continuous scene, framed by brick red and gilt borders. It has a small chip to the rim. The base is painted with three character marks. The baluster vase has a white crackle glaze ground and has raised blossom decoration in brown. It has a rim that has been repaired. The hexagonal pot doesn't look particularly old and has pierced panels decorated with blue foliate brushwork. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
227A nineteenth century rectangular rounded willow pattern ashet. (17.5in) - This is almost creamware and in very clean condition. It has three men on bridge. It is made by Allwyn & Co, Swansea and has impressed marks and numbers. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
228Miscellaneous nineteenth century ceramics - jugs, Minton tiles, tongue plate, teapot, etc. (A lot) - This is a mixed lot of ceramics that came from a house clearance. The sucrier is very fine and painted with green flowers and gilding. There are some early nineteenth century pieces. The Minton tiles are crazed but not damaged. A good mixed lot. : £10-15 (Ceramics)

The Hornsea sugar sifter makes me want to be back in the 60s." - This is a mixed lot of mainly 40s and 50s ceramics including two large butter dishes, a Hornsea black and white bowl, and other black and white wares including Beswick, Sandland, a Royal Winton cruet set, a pair of candlesticks, a Shorter butter dish, a Myott sucrier and cover, etc. This is a good mixed lot of twentieth century ceramics. : £30-40 (Ceramics)
