The basket is pierced with trellis design having scrolled gilding to rim. The exterior is decorated with foliate cartouche panels and encrusted with flowers. There is some loss to the flowers, but nothing too major. The bowl is supported on a tree style column, mounted with three figures further encrusted with foliate decoration. Two of the figures do appear to have had some restoration to their hands. The man who is playing the flute appears to be perfect. There are minor losses to the floral encrustations, and repairs are evident. This is supported on a scrolled rococo base with further floral encrustated decoration, with piercing and scrolled panels decorated with blue flowerheads. The base is impressed witn number 2942. There is a pale blue underglaze mark which could be an R? An impressive piece of porcelain. : £150-250 (Ceramics)

The base is moulded with gilt decorated scrolls. Her dress is brick red decorated with gilding, with a blue and green cape. It looks as if one of her hands has been restored. On the underside she has a gilt painted mark over an impressed mark. The gentleman is from a different factory, and we would suggest he is earlier. He is standing by a stump, cross-legged addressing his horned sheep. He also has a restored hand. He is wearing a blue coat and yellow breeks and green waistcoat. There is a trace of a blue mark to the inside of the hollow body. He could possibly be Derby? : £40-60 (Ceramics)
